    Holy Week at Dorchester Abbey

Holy Week provides an opportunity to draw closer to God through the events of the last days of Christ’s life. On Monday to Friday the readings at Morning Prayer at 8.30am will tell the story, and at 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there will be silence and an opportunity for reflection ending with Compline – all in St Birinus Chapel.

Maundy Thursday we recall the meal that Jesus shared with his disciples. PLEASE SIGN the list at the back of the Abbey if you are coming to share the meal. Eucharist and Stripping of the Altar at about 8pm.
