Saturday 7th, 7.30pm Thames Consort Concert Early Tudor vocal music by John Taverner (Mass: The Western Wind) and motets by John Sheppard, Byrd and Tallis sung by the Thames consort. Violin sonatas by Bach and Corelli (La Follia) played by Sharon Warnes and Jeremy Boughton. Tickets on the door are £7 and proceeds from the concert will go to the Friends of Dorchester Abbey.

Programme to include sonatas by Mozart, Bach and Brahms (G major Op. 78).Free entry, but retiring collection will be split between the Friends of Dorchester Abbey and Music Therapy provision at Wallingford care home, Westgate House.

Friday 10th, 6.30pm Orchestra of St John's Voices "Drop drop slow tears". OSJ Voices under their conductor John Lubbock return to the Abbey for their annual Good Friday Concert with a programme of contemplative and wonderful music in the perfect setting of the beautiful Abbey.
