Downlander Events Presents: Tenebrae @ Dorchester Abbey Ox10 7HH

Tenebrae, under the direction of Nigel Short, are one of the greatest a cappella choirs currently working anywhere in the world.

We are delighted to welcome Tenebrae to the magnificent Dorchester Abbey with a programme of works by J.S. Bach and James MacMillan to mark the start of Holy Week.

Tenebrae has won two BBC Music Magazine Awards for ‘Best Choral Performance’

(2012 and 2016), and in 2018 its album Music of the Spheres was nominated for a Grammy Award.
